this journal is somewhat friend-locked. i am paranoid and lazy at the same time, and this was the result.

origin of my username:

on one fine day in august, i decided that if i went one more day without a livejournal, i would surely perish. so i cornered ams and had her assist me in the arduous task of selecting a suitable username. being a STUPDENDOUSLY ORIGINAL SORT, i decided that my username would have some relevance to "parades go by" as that was the song currently playing on iTunes. don't even try to understand the genius that is elena. so! our pickings were slim, due to livejournal's infuriating character limit. because of said limit, underscores were mostly out of the question and without them, the majority of our choices looked like the names of rare STDs. so we finally settled on linger_here.
